We are thrilled to have Rob join our staff of coaches for the Lake Placid Showcase. In addition to providing a seminar on hockey performance, Rob will also be available to provide pregame off ice warm ups and post game cool down protocols. This gives players the opportunity to learn from one of the top strength and conditioning coaches in the game. Prior to founding ASAP, Dombrowski served as the Director of Hockey Performance for Sacred Heart University's D1 Men's and Women's hockey teams for three years, where he developed a reputation for combining deep technical knowledge with a personal, athlete-first approach. Before his time there, he served as the Director of Performance at Prentis Hockey Performance, one of the leading sports performance facilities in the country. During his nine-year tenure, he oversaw the physical development and performance testing of professional, collegiate and elite youth athletes.
Rob is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He is also a Functional Range Assessment and Functional Range Conditioning practitioner, specializing in enhancing movement capability, mobility development and injury reduction.
