Each game will be (2) 25 minute stop time periods. Each team will play the other two teams in their division to determine the seeding. The 1 seed from their division will play the 3 seed from the other division in the first semi finals. The two 2 seeds will play in the other semi finals. The winners will play for the Whiteface Cup, while the losers play in the consultation game.

How will the teams be coached?

Each team will be coached by an NCAA Division 1 coach. This gives the coaches an opportunity to get to know the player on a deeper level. It also gives players the opportunity to show the coaches what type of team mate they are in addition to their playing ability.

How is this Showcase different from others?

Unlike other showcases that are packed with teams players and scouts filtering in and out, we wanted to create a showcase that gives players more personalized attention and feedback. By limiting the number of teams and players, our showcase offers several distinct advantages over larger events, especially for players seeking meaningful exposure and development opportunities.

More Personalized Attention and Feedback

In smaller showcases, each player receives more direct interaction with NCAA D1 coaches, including individualized feedback and evaluation. This allows for deeper connections and more tailored advice, which can be crucial for recruitment and skill development.

Increased Playing Time and Skill Development

Smaller events mean more ice time per player, leading to more touches on the puck, more opportunities to showcase skills, and more chances to make decisions under pressure. This environment fosters rapid skill improvement and helps players stand out to coaches.

Higher Quality of Competition and Coaching

When teams are coached by NCAA D1 coaches, the level of instruction and competition is elevated. Players benefit from learning directly from top-level coaches, gaining insights into what college programs look for and how to prepare for the next level.

Better Networking and Exposure

Smaller showcases attract a more focused group of coaches and scouts, increasing the likelihood that each player is seen and evaluated by multiple programs. The intimate setting allows for more meaningful conversations and follow-ups, which can be more effective than mass exposure at larger events.

Enhanced Player Experience

We wanted to create a showcase that is more organized and less overwhelming to create a positive and supportive atmosphere. In smaller showcases, players often report feeling more engaged and less stressed, which can help them perform at their best and enjoy the experience more.

How can we help parents with the NCAA recruiting process?
